Little boy | Danru

I would like to share some photos of my little nephew, Danru.  He is growing up so fast and is becoming this walking talking little boy.  He surely makes our family laugh alot with all the funny things he is up to.  And he sings !  Like a little pro.. :-)  I just loved these images in black and white. Brings out a little bit of this little guy's personality, I think.. ;-) 


 

Wedding | Jaco & Zanandi

Jaco & Zanandi's wedding was a fairy tale from beginning to the end.  I've met with them to do an engagement session (view the pictures here) and just realised again the huge value of an engagement photo shoot.  On their wedding day they were so use to me (and my camera ! :-) ) you could just see how relaxed they were on their wedding day.  An engagement photo shoot can be seen as a "rehearsal" of the wedding day and the couple can then get to know the photographer and know more or less what to expect on their wedding day.  This is so important, as you dont get to re-shoot your wedding day.. :-) 

Pienaar kids | Sister love

The Pienaar family recently added a new little family member, little Mieke.  She is their second child and older sister Rochelle is so proud of her little baby sister.  I love to photograph children, it always amazes me with the things they can come up with.  They have these big imaginations and anything is possible in their eyes. I think an inspiration to adults. We should again start to think that anything can be possible and pursue our dreams.  I just love Rochelle's facial expressions in the pictures. Very independent, clever little  girl. :-)  A real joy !

Baby Romé Pretorius | One month old today

Yesterday I've put a sneak peak picture on my blog of my little niece Romé.  Today exactly a month ago (16 January 2012) this little baby girl was born.  I did a photo shoot of her, to capture her 1 month "birthday".  When I edited the photos, I had a pink marshmallow in mind all the time! :-)  She is so soft and sweet and pink.. all a little girl is made off.

It is amazing how quickly these little people can steal your hart.. My little niece is now 1 month old.  She is this calm little person, that is just the sweetest.

New baby | Romé Pretorius

Monday 16 January 2012 during the very early hours of the morning, little Romé came into this world.  This little cutey is my little niece.  She immediately stole my hart and she is just the most adorable, sweetest little baby girl.  Off course I took a lot of pictures!  Just would like to share one today.. (holiday is over, so now time for photo editing is a bit limited for me). Congratulations to Johan (my brother-in-law) and Monya (my sister) on their new baby. Sure she will bring you lots of joy and happiness!
