Baby Romé Pretorius | One month old today

Yesterday I've put a sneak peak picture on my blog of my little niece Romé.  Today exactly a month ago (16 January 2012) this little baby girl was born.  I did a photo shoot of her, to capture her 1 month "birthday".  When I edited the photos, I had a pink marshmallow in mind all the time! :-)  She is so soft and sweet and pink.. all a little girl is made off.

It is amazing how quickly these little people can steal your hart.. My little niece is now 1 month old.  She is this calm little person, that is just the sweetest.

Monday 16 January 2012 during the very early hours of the morning, little Romé came into this world.  This little cutey is my little niece.  She immediately stole my hart and she is just the most adorable, sweetest little baby girl.  Off course I took a lot of pictures!  Just would like to share one today.. (holiday is over, so now time for photo editing is a bit limited for me). Congratulations to Johan (my brother-in-law) and Monya (my sister) on their new baby. Sure she will bring you lots of joy and happiness!

Wildlife | Kalahari Lions

I'm jumping around a bit, but I'm so happy that I finally have a chance to catch up on my photos !  In October this year I went on a trip to the Kgalagadi.  It was just awesome !  It was the first time I visited the Kalahari and its beauty just amazed me every day I was there.  We were so lucky to see a couple of lions, thus I decided to share some of my favourite images I took of these magnificent creatures..

Funny how peaceful they can look and you feel like stroking its back and then the next moment they change into a deadly hunter.. Truly the King of the Jungle.. :-)

My life | Travel - Israel {Sea of Galilee}

This post is a bit "outdated" as our tour to Israel this year already happened in July  !  But finally I have some time to edit my photos I took during this amazing tour.. {this is kind of my holiday project :-) )  At the moment I'm putting together a photo book of the tour and today I would like to share 2 pages of our time at the Sea of Galilee.. What a special place and to realise that Jesus walked on this water that you touching is just not possible to describe in words..  I experienced such a peace when we were there.. 

My life | Family portrait

One thing that is very close to my hart is my family.  We recently took this family portrait of my brother-in-law Johan, Monya my sister, Danru my little nephew, my dad, my mom and myself.  These portraits are family treasures that will last for ages and our grand-grand children will still look at these and know where they coming from..  I though I would like to share this because it is so special to me.. :-)
